The Woodlands Texas is an ever-growing community comprised of shopping centers, public parks, and more than 180 miles of Public Pathways perfect for jogging, biking or walking the dog. There are numerous events in The Woodlands including festivals, concerts, and other public and private events. The various villages in The Woodlands feature individual Shopping Centers anchored by major grocery stores such as Kroger, HEB, and Randall's. Most of the larger banking institutions feature branch offices in The Woodlands, including Bank of America, Wood forest Bank, Wells Fargo and others, some having multiple locations. The Woodlands also features 3 Wal-Mart Super Centers located on 3 different sides of the community and 2 Target stores, one at the front along I-45 and one in the other end of The Woodlands at FM 2978 and FM 1488.

Ah, Spring. Soon the trees will sprout fresh greens and the crisp, brown lawns will start softening up and coming back to life. Waterway Wednesdays One Wednesday a month through the end of spring, join your friends and neighbors at 11:00 am at Waterway Square for some crafts and fun for children ages two to four. |
| January 20 - All Things Ten - Explore the number 10 in 2010! Make a craft using 10 items, play a counting game and more. |
| February 10 - Valentine's Day Fun - Play Valentine's Day Bingo, make a valentine craft and create a heart masterpiece. |

| March 17 - Little Leprechauns - Shamrocks, pots o' gold, leprechauns and more! Have a fun time celebrating all things St. Patrick's Day. |
| April 21 - Go Green - Just in time for Earth Day, make both a craft out of recycled items and a bird feeder. |
| May 19 - Flowers & Bugs - Plant a flower to watch grow at home, and make a bug and a bug box. |
