Located on Research Forest Drive just west of Gosling Road, “The Gorilla Hole” Pre-Teen Night-time Activity program at The Woodlands Recreation Center offers younger residents a place to have fun and make friends. The Gorilla Hole Social Club provides Woodlands kids a chance to play games, listen to music and hang out in a safe and supervised environment.
This activity is only available to children in 5th and 6th grade and all attendees must be checked in and out by a parent or guardian. Entry Fee is $7.00 per person, food and drink are available at additional cost. Activities vary; soccer balls, basketballs, etc. are available for use (weather permitting).
The Woodlands Recreation Center provides this safe and fun social program that offers indoor and outdoor games, music, snacks and competitions. Dress code and proper behavior enforced. There are two security guards on duty at each event and only paid attendees will be allowed into the facility during events. The Gorilla Hole is open the first and third Friday of each month, Friday Night Jam is for grades 8 and older. Each session will showcase two to four local bands performing both original and cover songs. Friday Night Jam is held the fifth Friday of each month. The Woodlands Recreation Center is located in Bear Branch Park in the Village of Cochran's Crossing.
