The sculpture, located at I-45 and Woodlands Parkway, at 40' tall, 15' wide, and 15' deep, it is the largest sculpture in The Woodlands. There is an extensive amount of artwork in The Woodlands, but there wasn't a collection or any documentation available until he published his hardbound, coffee-table book entitled The Woodlands Outdoor Sculptures in 2009. Tony has interviewed many of the artists so his tours are full of interesting and fun facts about the sculptures. Tony is easily the most well versed in the outdoor sculptures of The Woodlands. Through his newly-created Support Woodlands Art Foundation, Tony's vision of creating identification plaques, and repainting the various sculptures is coming to life. Sculp Tours is a labor of love for Tony Motto and he wants to share this unique asset with everyone. |
