Every once in a while, your friendly neighborhood information gatherer is a little off. Ridgewood Park was previously listed here as Woodrush Park. While that may have been an adequate nickname for Ridgewood Park in the past, in the Spring of 2009 Woodrush Drive was re-christened Interfaith Way in a community-wide celebration of the park's neighbor, the Interfaith Center.
No matter what you call it, Ridgewood Park is a gem; the fifth park constructed in The Woodlands, the park is home to the smaller of two BMX dirt tracks, as well as a unique skate track - a round, paved path that includes grind rails, a stairway/ramp combination and concrete barriers with grind rails, and has a pool. The "swan pool" at Ridgewood Park not only affords visitors plenty of shade, it is also where one of the first "zero-depth" play areas were installed in The Woodlands, with both Tumble Buckets and Water Sprayers.
