Bars and Clubs

Bars, Bars, Bars.... Where are the bars in The Woodlands? South Montgomery County Texas is not a dry county as are some other counties in Texas and The Woodlands has watering holes both within the Township and nearby. As of early 2011 however, the only 'Clubs' in The Woodlands are at one of the various golf course country clubs. Most of the area drinking establishments in TW are also restaurants so they are 'all ages' businesses. If you are looking for a location to quench that adult thirst without any kids running around you will need to step just outside of the Township to one of the area's 21 and up bars. The closest thing to a nightclub in the Woodlands is Crush Lounge.

You can find Woodlands watering holes in Town Center and along the Waterway where once was a 'cigar bar' that was not able to remain open for very long and another in Maganolia that (as of last check) is still open. The venues along the Waterway frequently have live music on the weekends (generally no cover) and at least one other local venue which is technically not in The Woodlands, offering frequent dinner shows with a wide variety of musical headliners from the past few decades.
