Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
This year, 8-year-old Kole Smithson, a second grader at Deretchin Elementary, will throw the switch. Kole moved to The Woodlands with his family four years ago. He has been treated for ADHD and a Sensory Integration Disorder through Texas Children's Hospital and has been able to overcome many obstacles through therapy and medication.
The 29th Annual Ceremonial lighting of Market Street’s giant, 70-foot Christmas tree will be followed by spirited holiday tunes, magic elves and carriage rides. The event is FREE. |
