Get to the Pavilion from Conroe / North of The WoodlandsFrom Interstate 45 south, exit at Tamina / Research Forest Drive (Shenandoah, Texas), or The Woodlands Parkway / Woodlands Mall exit and the Pavilion will be on your right. From the Research forest exit, turn right at the traffic light and proceed west towards Grogan's Mill Road. Turning left onto any of the streets prior to or at Grogan's Mill road and proceeding south will take you towards The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. It is recommended that you turn at Grogan's Mill road and go south where you will begin to see personnel directing you into one of the various free parking lots. Should you exit at the Lake Woodlands Drive exit (next exit after Research Forest) and then turn right (west) on any of the streets leading into The Woodlands as all of them ** will take you in the direction of Town Center. Turning on Lake Robbins Drive (the road with the large bridge) is the most direct route and will take you to the paid parking lots as well as the free handicapped parking (with placard or plates) in the Gold lot.
Navigating to the Pavilion Parking lots once you have entered The Woodlands Town Center area is typically marked with temporary, folding signs in between traffic lanes, at various intersections as well as CWMP personnel and Montgomery County Sheriff deputies. While we don't condone drinking and driving, you can drink and finish a beer during your walk to the concert. The Woodlands is only a 'Township' and it has no regulations regarding consuming alcohol in public places. So for those of you who are 21 and above, feel free to suck down some suds during your walk to the concert - just don't be stupid or act a fool while you do it. The Sheriff's department will stop you for public intoxication if you give them reason to do so.

Preferred parking is available in the Town Center Garage (Gold Lot). Handicap accessible parking is available with proper state identification on a first come, first serve basis. The limited number of blue permit parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Gold Lot adjacent to the pavilion VIP entrance. Access to the Gold lot is only via Six Pines Drive. Town Center Parking Garage is located at the corner of Six Pines Drive and Lake Robbins (between the Waterway and Lake Robbins) as well as a recently added paid parking lot on the northeast corner of the same intersection. The cost of parking close to the Pavilion ranges from $5 to $15 depending on the event. Parking at the Pavilion concert (and other events) costs the same at the surface lots as it does at the many parking garages (includes the gold lot and town center garage). The remote lots, orange, blue, green, and yellow are (currently) always free, you just have to be ready to walk for about 15 minutes or so depending on your own pace. FREE parking is available in the lighted lots which are also patrolled by CWMP personnel, the mounted patrol as well as Montgomery county sheriff department deputies. The free parking areas (Yellow, Blue, Orange, Green and White) are at various office building locations in the immediate area, while closer, paid parking can be found closer to the venue. Much of the closer parking however is not available for those attending events at the Pavilion such as Market Street and the Market Street parking garage. The Market Street area is not available for those attending Pavilion events and is marked by temporary, folding signs at the various entrances. The Market Street parking area is normally patrolled by security personnel both on foot and in security vehicles. Other areas, such as The Woodlands Mall parking lot as well as the parking garage next to Tinseltown 17 do not allow for parking at concerts and other events at The Pavilion. Please do not park in areas that are posted as unavailable to attendees of Pavilion events. This includes the HEB parking lot in Market Street. For most events, parking lots open 90 minutes prior to the performance while the Pavilion gates are opened 60 minutes prior to the performance. Paid parking is also available closer to The Pavilion in the same lot where the (temporary) ice skating rink is located (northeast corner of Six Pines and Lake Robbins Drive). |
