The Woodlands Waterway

Hurricane Ike

Hurricane Ike, which made landfall just south of Houston at Galveston, produced large rainfall amounts throughout The Woodlands and Spring, Texas area. The additional water resulted in high levels in the Waterway and some minor flooding.
The Woodlands Waterway offers a wide variety of entertainment venues throughout the year including restaurants, The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival, the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion all accessible via the Vintage Trolleys and the Waterway Taxi.
