Pools In The Woodlands

There are thirteen pools and aquatic facilities located throughout The Woodlands, with a fourteenth pool slated to open in the spring of 2013. Each of them offer a variety of water-based fun and relaxation, sure to help you keep your cool in the hot Texas summer. Enjoy everything from splash pads to diving to water slides to drifting along a lazy river!

The Woodlands is also home to four swim teams, The Hurricanes, The Riptides and The Waves, as well as the Junior Swim Team, designed to teach the strokes and skills needed to swim competitively with the other teams. For the 2013 Team Swimming Season, registration starts February 1. Returning swimmers must register by February 8 in order to remain on the same team. Registration will be open to everyone beginning February 15.

In order to join a Woodlands Swim Team, swimmers ages 5 and older must posses the prerequisite abilities of swimming freestyle and backstroke, be able to swim 25 yards in one minute and make practices. Swim Team Membership costs $195 for one swimmer, $180 per child for two swimmers and $165 per child for three or more swimmers. After April 10, all fees will increase $10.

If your child isn't ready to move up to swim team with all the needed skills, start with the Junior Swim Team. Please note: this is not a learn-to-swim program. All swimmers must be age 4 and older and able to swim the length of the pool. Junior Swim Team Fees are $155 for residents, and $165 for non-resident swimmers. Where can I purchase pool passes?

Season Passes for the area pools listed below can be purchased at all pools or at The Woodlands Recreation Center, located at 5310 Research Forest Drive, just inside Bear Branch Park.

The season pass application can be found here. Woodlands Pool Season Passes can be renewed online at The Woodlands Township, Parks & Recreation Registration and Membership site. Please note that if you are purchasing a pool pass for the first time, or you are renewing but have lost your pool pass cards, you will have to go to The Woodlands Recreation Center to get your new pool pass printed. The pools cannot accept cash for season pool passes, but can accept check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

In addition to Season Passes, Daily Admission, Multi-Visit Punch Cards and Day Care Group Rates are available. Admission to the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center is included with Season Passes, however, Daily Admission rates for the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center are different from all other pools.
