The Village of Panther Creek is a member of the earliest neighborhoods in The Woodlands. This particular section has rapid access to Lake Woodlands to the East and was the second village to be built in this master-planned community. Two of the most popular parks in The Woodlands border the prominent lake. Northshore Park is the site for the Annual YMCA Dragonboat races, and the Sunday evening Concerts in The Park Series (Spring and Summer months). Southshore Park is home of "The Woodlands Dragon" known as "Rise of the Midgard Serpent."
