Fun with the Easter Bunny
Ah, Spring. Soon the trees will sprout fresh greens and the crisp, brown lawns will start softening up and coming back to life. Flowers will bloom, birds will sing and insects of all types will be aflutter. Looking for something fun to do with the family this Easter weekend? The Woodlands Township 2017 Easter Events and Activities
Kayak Easter Egg Hunt
On Saturday, April 8 at 9:00 AM, each parent and child kayaking team will take a trip down the Waterway on a search for lots of eggs! Riva Row Boat House rules apply to this program. A fun event for all ages, however, each child must be accompanied by an adult to ride in the kayak. Cost is $30 per pair for residents, $35 for non-residents. Meet up at the Riva Row Boat House.
Flashlight Egg Hunts
New for 2017, there will be multiple Flashlight Easter Egg hunts at Terramont Park. Hop on over to Terramont Park on Friday, April 7 or Thursday, April 13 at 7:45 PM or on Sunday, April 9 at 7:00 PM; amp up your egg hunt fun by hunting in the dark with the Easter Bunny! Bring your flashlights, cameras, and Easter baskets for an egg hunt to remember! On April 9, cost is $20 per child for residents, $25 for non-residents; fee covers the Bunny Bash (see below) and the Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt. On April 7 and 13, cost is $15 per child for residents, $20 for non-residents; fee covers activities, egg hunt and a snack ($5 sibling discount available all three days). A fun time for kids of all ages - ages 5 and younger hunt first, then ages 6 and up!
Brunch With The Bunny
Head out to the Lodge at Rob Fleming Park on Sunday, April 9 where the Bunny will be hopping around all day! Enjoy a family brunch, craft and egg hunt with the Easter Bunny at 11:00 AM. Cost is $40 per family of four for residents, $45 for non-residents, $8 for each additional family member.
To Dye For - Egg Decorating With A Twist
Come 3:00 in the afternoon on Sunday, April 9 at the Lodge at Rob Fleming Park, it will be time to color Easter eggs with special colors, glitter and more! The afternoon's festivities also include games, an egg hunt and a visit from the Bunny, of course! Cost is $20 per child for residents, $25 for non-residents ($5 sibling discount).
The Bunny Bash
Kids of all ages (and adults, too!) can have a blast at the Bunny Bash, featuring the Flashlight Egg Hunt! The whole family is sure to have an "egg"citing time at the Bunny Bash with snacks, crafts, music and an egg hunt by flashlight, out at Terramont Park on Sunday, April 9 at 7:00 PM! Ages five and younger hunt first, then ages six and up. Cost is $20 per family of four for residents, $25 for non-residents ($5 sibling discount).
Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
Bring out the family to the Lodge at Rob Fleming Park on Friday, April 14 at 9:00 AM for some Easter fun, including an egg hunt and Easter craft, plus an "egg"cellent breakfast! Don't forget to bring your basket and your camera! Fun for all ages; cost is $40 per family of four for residents, $45 for non-residents, $8 for each additional family member.
Lunch with the Easter Bunny
Breakfast too early for you? Then bring out the family to the Lodge at Rob Fleming Park on Friday, April 14 at 12:00 PM for some Easter fun, including an egg hunt and Easter craft, plus an "egg"cellent lunch! Don't forget to bring your camera and Easter basket! Fun for all ages; cost is $40 per family of four for residents, $45 for non-residents, $8 for each additional family member.

The Easter Bunny at The Woodlands Mall
Grab your baskets, the Easter Bunny is hitting the trail and he’s making his way to The Woodlands Mall to visit with boys and girls. The Easter Bunny arrives on Thursday, March 16! Children and adults alike can visit the custom-designed Easter environment "Bunny Hop," which is teeming with fancifully decorated eggs of varied sizes, prints and patterns.
The floppy ear fellow will be in his springtime studio across from Macy’s until Saturday, April 15 at 8:00 PM. Photo purchase and reservations are not required to visit the Easter Bunny.
Photos packages will be available for purchase, or pre-order your photos online. Hours to visit are Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM and Sunday from Noon - 6:00 PM. There are also Special Easter Bunny Hours on Saturday, April 8, Friday, April 14, and Saturday, April 15 from 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM.
Pet Nights with the Easter Bunny: On Mondays, April 3 and April 10 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, The Woodlands Mall invites pet owners to bring cats and dogs to visit with the bunny and have a photo taken. Cats and dogs must be on a leash or in an appropriate carrier only. Animals, other than those servicing the disabled, are not allowed in the shopping center other than during special pet nights. Pet owners are asked to use the mall's southwest entrance by Macy’s.
Easter Egg-Tivities at the Children's Museum
The Woodlands Children's Museum is hosting "Easter Eggtivities," an egg-dyeing workshop and more. Visitors can enjoy dipping and swirling in the egg-dyeing workshop, experimenting with different media of dyeing eggs to create eggs-traordinary results. There will be art projects, the Easter Bunny will be there for photos - don't forget your camera!
Two opportunities to hop on in to the museum from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM; Friday, April 14 and Saturday, April 15 Easter Eggtivities are free with admission; first come, first served.
Also on Friday, April 14 at 11:00 AM, be sure to check out Storybook Theatre. Just in time for Easter, enjoy the "Golden Egg Book," written by Margaret Wise Brown. Introduce your child to the wonder of reading and instill a love of books at an early age. Storybook Theatre combines your favorite childhood books with songs, rhymes and finger plays which are meant to promote early literacy and enhance language development.
There is always plenty to do at The Woodlands Children's Museum – from art to science to make-believe and magic. All activities are included in the cost of admission. Daily Admission is $6 per person 1 year and older. Admission is free for children under age one and museum members. Easter Eggtivities are recommended for ages 7 years and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Community Easter Egg Hunts
On April 1, St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church is hosting a whole series of Easter Egg Hunts beginning at 10:00 AM, for children ages newborn - 10 years old. There will also be games, prizes, snacks, drinks, a bouncy house, the Kona Ice Truck, and of course - the Easter Bunny!
The Woodlands Church hosts multiple Easter egg hunts throughout Easter week at The Woodlands Campus; Drop in on one Thursday, April 13 at 6:30 PM, Friday, April 14 at 6:30 PM, Saturday, April 15 at 2:30 and 6:30 PM, and on Easter Sunday, April 16 at 9:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and at 5:30 PM, as well as one at 3:00 PM, following their Spanish-speaking service.
Just up the road a way, check out the eleventh annual Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Market at 7 Acre Wood in Conroe on Saturday, April 15. You can hunt Easter eggs, visit the petting zoo, play mini-golf, play in Tombstone (their western town), zip down the zip-line, play on the playground, and much more! Not only is there a ton of free activities to go along with the egg hunts, there's a market to shop through. Tickets may be purchased for photos with Easter Bunny, pony and train rides, carnival games, paintball, concessions, face painting, and more. The day kicks off at 10:00 AM.
The Alden Bridge Village Association hosts a Spring Festival and Easter Egg Hunts at Lakeside Park on Saturday, April 15 from 10:00 AM - noon. Three separate hunts divided by age group start the fun, then there's plenty of other activities to fill the morning! Admission is free, food tickets are just $1 each, and all proceeds benefit the Alden Bridge Village Association Scholarship fund.
Always a ton of fun, don't miss Eggapalooza, hosted by Grace Crossing Church on Saturday, April 15 from 2:30 - 4:30 PM. In addition to the three egg hunts, children can visit with the Easter Bunny (bring your camera), plus there will be face painting, a rock wall, concessions, and bounce houses!
Also on Saturday, April 15, immediately following their Saturday Night Easter services, Stonebridge Church is hosting Easter In The Woods! Join them outside at the Children's Building for a family event for all ages with egg hunts, food trucks (like El Topo, Tikiz, Good Dog Houston, Skye Cafe, Freddy G's Cafe, and Jax Burgers), face painting, inflatables and more to start a new Easter tradition for your family.
