Class Act Productions

Class Act Productions is a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for young performers through education, training, and participation in professional-quality musical theatre productions, which are held at the Nancy Bock Center for the Performing Arts at McCullough Junior High and The Woodlands College Park High School theatre. For 15 years, Class Act has produced more than 40 shows, including Disney's Mulan, Jr., Les Miserables, Cinderella, Annie, West Side Story and many others, and each has earned great acclaim from critics and audiences alike.

Year after year, hundreds of youth benefit from training and participation in musical productions, theatre classes, performance and audition workshops, and a summer camp all held at the Class Act Studio located at 25275 Budde Road, Suite 25, Spring, Texas 77380. Call them at 281 292-6779.

Stage Right Productions

Just about 12 miles up the road in Conroe, Stage Right is a non-profit community–centric theatre based at the historic Crighton Theatre whose core actions are to Respect the individual and the group, Inspire the community, Grow as individuals and as a community, Heal through laughter and tears, and Treasure our history.

In recent years, actors of all ages have taken part in such beloved shows as A Christmas Story, No Time For Sergeants, The Music Man, Cheaper By The Dozen and many more. Bravo Company is Stage Right's performing arts school, which offers youth classes throughout the year.

The Crighton Theatre

The Crighton Theatre is located in downtown Conroe. The Crighton Theatre is a truly historic theatre built in 1934, and is the home base for performances offered by Stage Right Productions, the Montgomery County Performing Arts Society, the Sounds of Texas Music Series, and Christian Youth Theatre. In addition, the theatre is offered for rent for other events. Productions at the Crighton are funded in part by a grant from the Conroe Commission on Arts & Culture.
