2005 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands, Texas 77380
To get to The Pavilion from Houston
Begin on either Interstate 45 North (the North Freeway) or the Hardy Toll Road North to The Woodlands. The Hardy Toll Road begins at North Loop 610E and ends at I-45, just south of The Woodlands. As you approach The Woodlands, you can take any of the next four exits and have access to The Woodlands and CWMP. Taking the 3rd exit, 'Woodlands Parkway' is the most convenient as that exit is ramped over the freeway and drops traffic directly onto Woodlands Parkway westbound; it also likely to be the busiest during any prime-time type driving periods such as evening traffic, festivals, and concerts at the pavilion.
To bypass some of the backup, exit at Rayford Road/Sawdust Road, just beyond the Hardy Toll Road/I-45 merge. Turn left onto Sawdust, and continue on Sawdust which becomes Grogan's Mill Road. After passing under Woodlands Parkway, take the next right onto Timberloch Place and follow the signs to the next available free lot. From Timberloch Place you can access the Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue and White free lots.
Get to the Pavilion from Conroe / North of The Woodlands
From Interstate 45 South, exit at Research Forest Drive/Tamina Road (Shenandoah, Texas), or The Woodlands Parkway/Woodlands Mall exit. From the Research Forest exit, turn right at the traffic light and proceed west towards Grogan's Mill Road. Turning left onto any of the streets prior to or at Grogan's Mill Road and proceeding south will take you towards The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. It is recommended that you turn at Grogan's Mill road and go south where you will begin to see personnel directing you into one of the various free parking lots.
Should you exit at the Lake Woodlands Drive exit (next exit after Research Forest) you can then turn right (west) on any of the streets leading into The Woodlands (Lake Woodlands Drive, Lake Robbins Drive, Timberloch Place) as all of them will take you in the direction of Town Center. Turning on Timberloch Place (the final street before Woodlands Parkway) is the most direct route, and will take you to the free parking lots.
If you are headed for the Gold lot (paid parking) as well as the free handicapped parking (with placard or plates) in the Gold and Silver (satellite) lots, turn right on Lake Robbins Drive (the street with the green suspension bridge); this is the most direct route to those lots.
Navigating to the Pavilion Parking lots once you have entered The Woodlands Town Center area is typically marked with temporary, folding signs in between traffic lanes, at various intersections as well as CWMP personnel and Montgomery County Sheriff deputies.
