The Woodlands Villages
The Woodlands, is a Master Planned Community primarily in Montgomery County, Texas consisting of (8) eight subdivisions locally known as "Villages", each of which contains numerous individual neighborhoods. All of the Villages in The Woodlands contain at least one suburban retail center, many restaurants, gas stations, bank branches and grocers and various public parks; additionally, there are both public schools and private schools scattered throughout the Villages. |

8 Unique Residential VillagesThe Woodlands, a Montgomery County, Texas Master Planned Community consists of eight subdivisions also known as "Villages", each of which contains numerous individual neighborhoods. Many of the Villages in The Woodlands contain at least one suburban retail center, restaurants, gas stations, banks, grocers and assorted public parks. Additionally, there are both public schools and private schools scattered throughout the The Woodlands Community. The eight residential Villages areas in The Woodlands are known as Alden Bridge, Cochran's Crossing, College Park, Creekside Park, Grogan's Mill, Indian Springs, Panther Creek and Sterling Ridge. Each Village is similar to a small town, with easy access to parks & playgrounds, schools, places of worship and shopping via the scenic roadways and area pathways. Village Shopping CentersThe Village Centers: Alden Bridge Village Center, Cochran's Crossing Shopping Center, College Park Village Center, Grogan's Mill Village Center, Panther Creek Shopping Center, Indian Springs Village Center, and Sterling Ridge Shopping Center, each of which include a major chain grocery store; currently these are Krogers, HEB, & Randalls. Neighborhood ParksThere are over 120 parks in The Woodlands and some 200 miles of pathways (and growing) that wind through and around the Villages of The Woodlands. Each Village has a half-dozen or more parks with the exception of the newest Village, Creekside Park. Creekside Park, currently under construction, is already home to two parks as well as the most extensive public waterpark in The Woodlands, The Rob Fleming Aquatic Center. |

Schools in The WoodlandsThe overall size of The Woodlands expands into 3 different Public School Districts including Magnolia (MISD), Tomball (TISD) and Conroe (CISD). Additionally, there are several prestigious private schools in The Woodlands.
Village AssociationsThe Village Associations are non-profit civic organizations that serve the individual Villages of The Woodlands by providing planned activities, architectural standards review and as a public forum where issues are discussed. Individual Associations are comprised of the adult residents within the different Villages. The Village Associations continue to serve in their current capacity, regardless of the 2010 Woodlands Township transition. Through the transition agreement, the Township has committed to continuing to provide liaisons to the Village Associations as well as hosting the individual village bylaws. |
