The phrase "Kids Eat Free" is music to a parent's ears; while many restaurants are willing and able to serve free kids meals, you should be aware of the typical conditions and requirements:

• Such meal deals are only available for children up to age 12
  some places limit the offer to kids 10 and younger
• The Free Kids Meals are limited to a few menu items or a 'Kids Menu'
• The child must be with an adult who's dining at the same time and ordering an adult entree
  (conditions can & do vary)

Family-friendly pricing is nothing new at Holiday Inn. Reportedly, Holiday Inn pioneered the “Kids Eat Free” concept in 1993, and Fifteen (15) years later, kids 12 and under still eat free at some 900 Holiday Inn properties throughout the Americas.

Throughout the country there are many hotels and motels (including Ritz-Carlton, Westin, some Sheraton, Le Meridien and Marriott properties) offering a 'boatload' of free, or kid-friendly excursions and outings in addition to the “kids eat free” deal.

At certain Marriott hotels including their Courtyard, Residence Inn, Renaissance, and Marriott Resort properties such as the Orlando World Center Marriott, the Escape! Family package lets kids 12 and under eat free at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The deal includes a free pizza party, including in-room movie rental, pizza and beverages.
