The Woodlands Texas is an ever-growing community comprised of shopping centers, public parks, and more than 180 miles of Public Pathways perfect for jogging, biking or walking the dog. There are numerous events in The Woodlands including festivals, concerts, and other public and private events. The various villages in The Woodlands feature individual Shopping Centers anchored by major grocery stores such as Kroger, HEB, and Randall's. Most of the larger banking institutions feature branch offices in The Woodlands, including Bank of America, Wood forest Bank, Wells Fargo and others, some having multiple locations. The Woodlands also features 3 Wal-Mart Super Centers located on 3 different sides of the community and 2 Target stores, one at the front along I-45 and one in the other end of The Woodlands at FM 2978 and FM 1488.

The Woodlands, Texas is a Master Planned Community that features a multitude of events and activities filled with interesting Things to Do and see, and the list is ever-growing. From quiet neighborhood parks to fine dining, to the live music scene, The Woodlands is a great place to live, work and play. Town Center features two Cinemark Movie Theaters, one at Market Street, and the other between The Woodlands Mall and The Waterway. The retro style, open air shopping mall at Market Street has a small town, downtown look and includes several restaurants such as Berryhill Baja Cafe, Johnny Rockets Burgers, French style food at La Madeleine, and a central park.

The Woodlands Mall features over 280 stores, services and restaurants. The Town Center / Market Street / Woodlands Mall areas are all interconnected via pedestrian sidewalks, and residents enjoy walking, jogging, biking and skating along on them. The Woodlands Trolley system connects The Woodlands Downtown area to The Waterway, where you can enjoy the waterway taxis, all of the shopping district, and Town Green Park.

In addition to Market Street, you can venture over to the waterway district and enjoy the nightlife at The Goose's Acre or Baker Street Pub, grab some pizza at Grimaldi's, or have glass of wine at Crush while you enjoy the Waterway fountains. Further up along Waterway Avenue is Rio 24 Cigars & Premium Bar and Hubble and Hudson, offering a unique selection of food at their grocery store and restaurant.
