    Recreation & Leisure

    What is Leisure?

Leisure or free time, is generally considered to be the time spent when not working or performing essential domestic activities. Leisure type activities are also known as the discretionary time before or after performing any compulsory, or required activities.

Daily or regular activities such as eating, sleeping, work related travel time, managing a business, attending school, completing homework, household chores, and day-to-day stress are typically not relaxing and therefore are not included in leisure time.

Many neighborhoods and public areas feature wide sidewalks suitable for walking, jogging, biking, skateboarding, and everyday strolls in The Woodlands. These concrete walkways connect various areas together in addition to providing scenic views.
